- Is an official South African national
- The candidate must currently hold either a National Diploma or BTech in Biomedical Technology
- Is an HPSCA registered Student Medical Technologist
- Has proven fluency in both spoken and written English
- Able to reside within the Durban region during the entire course of the internship programme.
