Instead, this Michael Masutha-lead public institution also oversees the National Prosecuting Authority, provides legal advice, facilitates law reforms, and represents states&#8217; organs while being responsible for the country&#8217;s Correctional Services at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Department of Correctional Services also becomes the responsible department for supporting the court system and constitutionally-independent judiciary bodies&#8217; finance and administrative matters. At the same time, since there are no reimbursement or coverage of interns&#8217; travel and accommodation costs, intern candidates are encouraged to apply to their nearest residences&#8217; centres or offices.<\/p>\n<p>The other things that every intern candidate should pay attention are the requirement sets of applying for the Department of Correctional Services&#8217; internship programmes, which are described as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be around 18 until 35 years old.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain either one of 3-year degree or National Diploma that is worth of 360 credits in any disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Be unemployed people.<\/li>\n<li>Be qualifying people with disabilities (encouraged as per the Department of Correctional Services&#8217; equal opportunity affirmative action employer&#8217;s scheme).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply for the Internship Programme In the Department of Correctional Services<\/strong><\/p><!--CusAdsVi2-->\n<p>First of all, applicants should have filled in the Z83 form that can be obtained from any South African&#8217;s public institutions, such as the Correctional Centres, Regional Offices, Management Area Offices, or Head Offices. The Z83 form can also be downloaded online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcs.gov.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">the Department of Correctional Services&#8217; official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, after completing the Z83 form, applicants can attach their entire certified copies of recent qualifications and South African ID card with barcodes along with their CV as well as their already-completed Z83 form.<\/p>\n<p>After 3 months of each internship position&#8217;s closing date, shortlisted applicants will receive notifications of their internship outcomes.
