Rather, the Department of Public Works also commits to efficiently manage South African&#8217;s immovable assets&#8217; life cycle through the Department of Public Works&#8217; custodianship.<\/p>\n<p>These entire efforts, combined with the Department of Public Works&#8217; employees&#8217; and interns&#8217; seriousness, contribute to the South African property industries&#8217; strategic management and the Department of Public Works&#8217; leading Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).<\/p>\n<p>Since these are integral for the Department of Public Works to transform both of South African&#8217;s property industries and to realise its grand vision as the world-class public works department, this South African&#8217;s Public Service department pledges to recruit youths in various programmes, including the internship programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Department of Public Works&#8217; Internship Programme&#8217;s Schemes and Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nAs with the Department of Public Works itself, the Department of Public Works&#8217; internship programme is based on the equal opportunity and affirmative action bases.<\/p>\n<p>According to these bases, applicants who are disabled, previously disadvantaged, or hold on any special conditions based on Section 15 and 20 of the Employment Equity Act in 1998, are strongly encouraged to apply for the Department of Public Works&#8217; internship programme to help the Department of Public Works promote representativity.<\/p>\n<p>Interns in the Department of Public Works&#8217; 12-month internship programme will be placed in one of the Department of Public Works&#8217; centre. Additionally, they will also receive a monthly stipend of R5,353.75.<\/p>\n<p>To be able to apply for the Department of Public Works&#8217; internship programme, applicants should satisfy these following requirements:<\/p><!--CusAdsVi2-->\n<ul>\n<li>Be South African people who are between 18 until 35 years old<\/li>\n<li>Complete 3-year tertiary education from any recognised and accredited institutions in these below-mentioned fields:\n<ul>\n<li>MCSE 2003, A+, or N+<\/li>\n<li>Equivalent IT qualifications with A+, N+, and MCSE courses<\/li>\n<li>Any other qualifications as deemed relevant by the Department of Public Works<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t participate in other Public Service-based internship programmes before their applications for the Department of Public Works&#8217; internship programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply for the Department of Public Works&#8217; Internship Programme<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants who have satisfied the aforementioned criteria and want to apply for the Department of Public Works&#8217; internship programme can see the most recent Circular publication online or offline to seek the most suitable internship positions for them. Additionally, they will also be required to complete Form Z83 along with attaching their comprehensive CV and certified copies of their ID cards and most recent educational and professional qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>After completing their internship application packages, applicants should specify the preferred centre&#8217;s reference number.
