These young people will then be exposed to numerous amounts of projects and training sessions with Murray & Roberts’ fellow employees to further expand their career horizons and gain professional registrations at the end of their internship period.

Interns in Murray & Roberts’ Graduate Internship Programme will not only receive monthly salaries, but also performance-based benefits that are related to the South African market and various other considerable incentives, such as medical aids, Group Life covers, and pension funds. They will also directly start to embark on full-time employee journeys since their first day as Murray & Roberts’ interns.

Those interns will also be assigned mentors to track their well-being and psychological developments during the internship programme. There will also be line managers who will expand the interns’ work experiences as well as executive bodies who will monitor and provide adequate support and training grounds as the interns learn in this 12-month Graduate Internship Programme.

After their 12 month internship period has ended, Murray & Roberts’ Graduate Internship Programme’s interns will be placed in Murray & Roberts’ departments according to their performances and proof of competences of their skills during the internship programme.

To be eligible for Murray & Roberts’ Graduate Internship Programme scheme, future intern candidates should possess these following requirements:

• Be South African people or Permanent Resident who have either one of BEng, BSc or BTech degree.
• Show exceptional academic performances as well as active participation in extracurricular activities and various leadership-based programmes.
• Have no more than 2 years of prior working experiences when applying to the Murray & Roberts’ Graduate Internship Programme.
• Able to work in wherever countries that need their skills.
